Oct 09, 2024

Oura has launched the new and updated Ring 4 earlier this month for the global market. The smart ring is designed to help users monitor sleep, exercise, stress and heart health more easily. This new version features advanced sensors and a battery life of up to eight days.

The company has also introduced a Smart Sensing platform that uses new algorithms and sensors to give more accurate data about blood oxygen levels, heart rate and breathing patterns during the day and at night. Meanwhile, some users had complained about discomfort with the previous generation's interiors, but Oura has upgraded the design with a smoother titanium interior for a comfortable experience.

The 4th generation ring is available for pre-order at selected platforms in the US and the UK and will be rolled out from October 15. It is available in twelve sizes and six stylish colours, including Silver, Black, Brushed Silver, Stealth, Gold and Rose Gold.

Oura Ring 4 Price

Oura Ring 4 starts at $349 (approximately Rs 30,000) with Oura Membership pricing at $5.99 (approximately Rs 500) per month or $69.99 (approximately Rs 5,000) for one year.

Oura Ring 4 Features

Oura members with an Oura Ring Gen3 or Oura Ring 4 will receive upgrades to several features, including Daytime Stress, Automatic Activity Detection, and Cycle Insights, as well as a newly redesigned Oura App, rolling out over the next two weeks. In the new application, users' data will be arranged into three tabs, Today, Vitals, and My Health.

Tom Hale, Oura CEO while talking about the new Oura Ring 4 said, “Oura Ring is designed to be a personal health companion, giving our members a holistic view of their health by pairing personal data with meaningful, actionable insights to facilitate long-term changes. The next-generation Oura Ring 4, reimagined Oura App, and the development of the Smart Sensing platform represent significant steps forward for wearables across accuracy, comfort, personalization, and design.”

On the other hand, they are even enhancing reproductive health features by introducing a new tool called Fertile Window, which will help female users track information about their cycle.
